I was walking down in front of the skydome
it is the stadium that the blue jays call their home
i heard the detroit tigers were in town that night
if i had tickets i'd be rooting blue and white
this chickie she comes up to me says "hey!"
she says "who is your all-time favourite blue jay?"
i said "Dave Stieb but he don't swing the bat"
and then the chickie simply said "oh who is that?"

so i said
DAVE STIEB! he is the pitcher for the blue jays

toronto blue jays lost but i still feel the same
and who did i see sitting in cafe?
